We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Family & Community Services. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide direct client care services and community support to individuals with severe mental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized service plans.
- Psychotherapy and Counseling: Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and current professional standards of care.
- Community Support: Offer community support program services, including crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, outcomes, and services provided.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, community agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in a relevant field and professional licensure (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs).
