Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance hospitality services and drive business growth.
  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage a comprehensive budget and optimize revenue streams to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance hospitality offerings.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Yale School of Medicine in discussions and negotiations with various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten years of experience in hospitality management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience managing a multi-location hospitality operation.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a hospitality team to provide extraordinary customer service.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and regularly report on a large budget with a continual focus on profit and loss accurately and strategically.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Experience leading hospitality dining programs in a higher education setting.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional weekend and evening hours required.
  • No drug screening or health screening required.
  • Background check required.
