Job Title: Construction Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Administrative Coordinator to join our team at JONES AND LAMBERTI BUILDERS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction-related administrative tasks such as insurance, liens, subcontracts, and prevailing wage reporting, monthly billings, project startup and closeout, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive subcontractor invoices and enter into our accounting software
  • Manage subcontractor lien waivers and releases
  • Manage subcontractor and owner insurance
  • Assist with subcontract and insurance processing
  • Assist with monthly billings and bi-weekly timecard review
  • Assist with project start up and closeouts
  • Reports directly to the Accounting Manager
  • Event and training planning assistance / budget development. Including in-person meetings and training
  • Work schedule: Full-time salary
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as an Admin Assistant within the commercial construction industry is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Commitment to safety and company core values
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work well with colleagues and stay motivated when working independently
  • Willingness to accept new challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Additional software usage: SAGE 100, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Building Connected
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive positive attitude
  • Background check and drug testing required for position
  • Currently remote position with requirement of full-time in-office in the near future
