About the Role:

The Construction Project Engineer will support the project manager and team in various tasks, including project documentation, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision.

Responsibilities:

On-Site Management:

  • Assist with daily on-site management to ensure project success and adherence to project plans.
  • Support the project team in supervising construction activities and coordinating with subcontractors.

Project Documentation and Control:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals.
  • Oversee the RFI and submittal process to ensure timely and accurate responses.

Scheduling:

  • Monitor project schedules and ensure that tasks are progressing as planned to meet anticipated deadlines.
  • Assist in adjusting schedules as needed to address delays or changes.

Job Cost Accounting:

  • Process owner billings and handle project-related accounting issues.
  • Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with the budget.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager is required.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with construction rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
