Position Overview


This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) responsible for the Intelligent Transportation Systems initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee comprehensive project management, team supervision, deliverables, and resolution of critical reporting and project challenges.
- Interpret policies, procedures, and organizational goals.
- Manage the development and implementation of governance policies and operational procedures for the EPMO.
- Ensure compliance with standards and oversee the delivery of contractual obligations.

- Supervise the ITS JPO EPMO team, consisting of 10 full-time employees across various specialized teams.

- Provide direct program management support and individual project oversight.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure timely submission of all contractual deliverables.

- Deliver briefings and presentations to all organizational levels, from team members to executive leadership.

- Facilitate all meetings and communications between the EPMO contract support team and stakeholders.

- Develop and implement overall program governance, policies, and operational procedures for the EPMO.
- Guide the development of software projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

- Ensure adherence to Agile principles and the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate project objectives, progress, and challenges.
- Promote collaboration and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications


- A minimum of 15 years of program management experience, ideally within a PMO setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMI PMP Certification.

- Extensive knowledge of Agile development frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly with non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

- A Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 20 years of relevant experience.
- Agile Certifications.
