Company Overview:
Actus Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee financial operations for multiple real estate entities in the US and UK, including hotels and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:
  • Oversee outsourced accounting functions.
  • Collaborate with property managers and accountants to ensure accurate reporting.

Financial Transactions:
  • Ensure timely monthly closing for 8 legal entities using Microsoft Dynamics - SL.
  • Record rent payments, expenses, and other transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
  • Monitor capital expenditures and maintain records of depreciation using SAGE fixed asset system.
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers and trial balances for all entities.
  • Prepare tax provisions based on guidance from tax consultants.
  • Coordinate with headquarters for inter-company reconciliations and invoicing.

Cash Management:
  • Facilitate timely fund transfers for operational expenses.
  • Manage debt and interest payments on a quarterly/semi-annual basis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners.

Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly cash reports for multiple bank accounts.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements and fixed asset reports.
  • Collaborate with asset managers to analyze performance against budget.
  • Coordinate the preparation of corporate consolidation packages.

Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax reporting requirements.
  • Work with tax consultants to file necessary annual forms.
  • Monitor compliance with debt covenants.
  • Assist external auditors during reviews and audits.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Working Environment:
This position is primarily office-based with minimal travel requirements.
