Job Title: Intervention Specialist, Elementary School

The United Schools Network is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team at one of our elementary schools. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing targeted support to students with special needs, working closely with students, families, and colleagues to design and implement individualized programs that promote student growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including general education classrooms, one-on-one, and small groups.
  • Work with students, families, and colleagues to design and implement individualized programs that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure student success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and teaching license required.
  • Experience working in urban schools and/or communities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to use data-driven instructional practices and techniques to improve student outcomes.
