Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing a geographical sales territory, ensuring customer needs are met, and budgeted sales and gross profit objectives are achieved/exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly call on existing and potential customers to meet/exceed their needs and achieve sales budgets.
  • Effectively manage segment markets by location, potential, and size.
  • Develop short and long-term strategies to call on high potential accounts and manage time and resources to cover the entire sales territory.
  • Communicate with local brokers/manufacturer representatives to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Follow through on all commitments in a timely manner.
  • Match customers' long- and short-term needs to the features and benefits of our service system and advocate ideas and solutions that promote customers' business strategies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 2 – 4 years of foodservice sales experience
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business management, sales/marketing, or related area
  • 4 – 6 years of foodservice sales experience
