Role Summary

As a Dietitian Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and improving the nutritional health of our patients. This position allows you to contribute significantly to the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide nutrition services in designated specialty areas, ensuring that at least 70% of your responsibilities focus on areas such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services.
  • Evaluate the nutritional status of patients through thorough documentation.
  • Mentor and train staff and interns in patient services.
  • Promote teamwork and develop innovative programs to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial results.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives and participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant specialty area.
  • Specialty certification as applicable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and electronic medical record systems.
