About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team at Hotel Resource. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership and ensuring that our hotel's Housekeeping Team operates at the highest level of efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily housekeeping skills, as needed, to ensure that our hotel's rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Inspect that safety and security measures are being upheld to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.
  • Assist with the overall performance of the property's Housekeeping department, including guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor.
  • Train fellow associates on brand and company standards to maximize revenue and ensure consistency in our service delivery.
  • Promote brand and company standards in your actions and communications to ensure that our hotel is represented in the best possible light.
  • Maintain compliance with new initiatives for the brand and company, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel, preferably with a major hotel brand like Marriott, Hilton, or Starwood.
  • Knowledge of local and state compliance laws, as well as the ability to perform inventory management and cost control.
  • The ability to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service, with sufficient communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with associates to drive associate satisfaction and implement McKibbon policies and procedures.
