Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the DoubleTree Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront Hotel. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our team of room attendants and ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including organizing staff shifts and ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and tidy.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and hotel standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure the hotel's high standards are maintained.
  • Respond to customer complaints and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that staff have everything they need to do their job effectively.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including the use of industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
