Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and organization of our guest accommodations. This role involves leading the housekeeping team to ensure that our high standards of service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assign and supervise tasks for housekeeping staff, providing training as needed.
2. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services.
3. Communicate maintenance needs for guest rooms to the appropriate personnel.
4. Inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture for cleanliness and condition.
5. Manage inventory of linens and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
6. Document inspection outcomes and relay findings to housekeeping staff.
7. Ensure staffing levels are aligned with business demands.
8. Utilize the hotel property management system effectively.
9. Handle lost and found inquiries in accordance with hotel procedures.
10. Conduct inspections of vacant and departing rooms.
11. Manage key distribution and inventory.
12. Collaborate with other departments as necessary.
13. Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives.
14. Assist with room cleaning and laundry tasks when required.
15. Monitor linen closets and storage areas for organization.

Supervisory Duties:
This position directly supervises hourly housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and addressing employee concerns.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of one year of housekeeping experience and supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks, including walking, standing, and bending.

Work Schedule:
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility in scheduling is required, including the possibility of rotating shifts and overtime.
