Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Learning and Development strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives.
  • Design and deliver high-impact training programs that meet the needs of our employees and leaders.
  • Partner with leadership and the People and Resourcing teams to understand the development needs of our future leaders and propose on-the-job solutions and creative action learning.
  • Drive the strategic plan for L&D Programs at Brunswick in the Americas, creating and executing an annual training calendar from content creation to feedback.
  • Diagnose, design, and deliver high-impact leader and team interventions, leveraging existing methodologies, tools, and resources in close partnership with respective HR Managers.
  • Regularly measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs, adjusting our approach as needed to get the most out of every offering.
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships, renewing contracts, co-designing trainings, and identifying new partners to ensure DE&I objectives.
  • Create and maintain a yearly training budget for the Americas.
  • Act as a key point person and drive global L&D programs as needed.
  • Engage and collaborate with global peers to ensure programs are leveraged appropriately around the world.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of L&D experience in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Strong customer service mentality with the ability to juggle multiple clients and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think on their feet and have good judgment.
  • Ability to take on challenges and have a proactive approach to duties.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, with the ability to identify when best to develop or source external providers.
  • Knowledge of popular learning models and the ability to connect with employees and leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with advanced organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude, with exceptional project management skills.
  • Team player attitude, with a strong desire to collaborate and a flexible approach to reacting quickly to changing business needs.
