Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional to join our team at Curana Health. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to residents in a long-term care setting, addressing their emotional, psychological, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate residents' mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide individual therapy to address a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and cognitive impairments.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the geriatric population.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and thorough care for residents.
- Respond to and manage emotional and psychological crises as they arise.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
- Previous experience in a mental health role, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
- A flexible work schedule.
