About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to adolescent and adult patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities and facilitation of skill-building groups.
  • Assist in the intake and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
  • Enforce hospital and unit rules to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in health or human services.
  • At least three years of prior psychiatric experience (or equivalent education).
  • CPR certification (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
