We are seeking a highly skilled Data Compliance Specialist to join our team at Everman Independent School District.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and auditing district data, coordinating PEIMS data collection and reporting, maintaining accurate and auditable records, and providing training and support to staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Integrity and Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on current laws and TEA rules regarding PEIMS, attendance, enrollment, grading, discipline, etc.
- Assist in collecting, integrating, and formatting data for PEIMS submission.
- Work with campus, business office, and personnel office staff to collect and format data for PEIMS submission.
- Run edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy.
- Verify data submitted to TEA and submit corrections in a timely manner.
- Training and Technical Support:
- Provide training and support to campuses and to business and personnel office staff responsible for processing PEIMS data.
- Attend regional PEIMS workshops and disseminate information to appropriate staff.
- Maintain software such as OnDataSuite, etc.
- Audit district data reports.
- Review reports and coding for PEIMS submissions and assist with error resolution.
- Write documentation and training materials.
- Conduct training with staff.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policies.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
