Patient Access Operations Manager

As a key member of the Jefferson team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Access Operations Manager to oversee the daily registration functions within our Patient Access scope. The ideal candidate will ensure the operational unit is staffed appropriately, promote a positive patient experience, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills when interacting with staff, patients, families, and leadership.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for supervising efficient and compliant registration processes, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and monitoring key performance metrics to achieve goals. Additionally, you will interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson, maintain staffing schedules, manage on-site operations, and respond to patient complaints or stakeholder concerns.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise registration processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain staffing schedules and manage on-site operations
- Respond to patient complaints or stakeholder concerns
- Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
- Manage resources to ensure all vacancies are covered with minimum or no overtime
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a physician office or hospital setting
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a physician practice or hospital environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Computer and Microsoft Office skills and familiar with healthcare EHR applications
