Job Description

As a Patient Registration Coordinator at Option Care Health, you will play a crucial role in the transition of patients onto our services. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless coordination with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient transitions with external service providers and the Option Care Commercial Team.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with referral sources, serving as a key point of contact and representative of Option Care.
  • Communicate frequently with the Commercial team to provide updates on patient referral status and resolve any related issues.
  • Collect, review, and complete applicable care transition documents, participating in data collection as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 1 year of customer service/account management experience or patient registration/revenue cycle management experience.
  • Basic PC skills, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LPN, RD, or Pharm Tech licensure and/or experience.
  • Previous infusion medical billing/collections or intake/admissions experience.
