Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager

The Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of field personnel, managing labor productivity, and coordinating quality assurance and project financials. This role will also involve procurement, change order management, and owner/client relations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to projects
- Manage field labor productivity and quality assurance
- Coordinate project financial projections and reporting
- Procure materials and equipment
- Manage change orders
- Develop and maintain owner/client relations
- Manage project cash flow
- Supervise personnel
To be successful in this role, the individual must have 5-7 years of construction work-related experience and/or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
Preferred Skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu PDF editing and Vista-Viewpoint project management software
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple levels of employees, vendors, and suppliers
The work environment for this role will be fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
