We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Truck Country. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, developing and improving maintenance skills, and performing diagnostics and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Develop and improve maintenance skills through training and experience
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Conduct inspections and recalls on medium and heavy-duty trucks

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician working on Class 8 vehicles
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic equipment
  • Power and hand tool experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relay findings and translate to digital notes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL preferred (Class B CDL required after 6 months of employment)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Previous engine overhaul experience
