Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake and tire work.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers and software.
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
  • Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Coach and mentor other technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
  • Basic tools required.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
  • Four years or more relevant work experience preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
