Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, and other components
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as PMs, brakes, tires, and wheels
  • Work with customers to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective work processes
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Three years or more relevant work experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or non-commercial driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
