Core Responsibilities:

  • Focus on financial planning and forecasting, leveraging over 5 years of expertise in advanced Excel modeling.
  • Oversee the execution of periodic cycle counts from a financial audit perspective.
  • Address internal and external audit inquiries related to inventory management.
  • Conduct annual product cost analyses and manage cost roll activities.
  • Utilize financial principles to analyze inventory processes and product valuations, including cost drivers.
  • Examine financial data and construct models to support business decision-making.
  • Review historical results, perform variance analyses, identify trends, and recommend enhancements to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Employ financial management techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by project managers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate ongoing improvements in business processes that impact financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Execute tasks within the ERP system related to costing, inventory adjustments, and transfer pricing.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Silfex Quality Management System and apply relevant quality procedures.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S methodologies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Exhibit a strong motivation to innovate and find new solutions to challenges.
  • Show proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Extract and analyze data from ERP systems to provide actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a quantitatively intensive role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategies and assess performance outcomes.
  • Experience with MRP or ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  • Proficient application of financial principles, including costing and financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:
