We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care & Imaging
- Produce diagnostic images in assigned areas and perform quality control tasks as assigned
- Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
- Perform mammography examinations according to a high-quality standard to service patients and referring physicians
- Promote and motivate good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel
- Department Support
- Participate in staff meetings with employee involvement
- Maintain positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company
- Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
- Accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information Software
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers
- Training and Development
- Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-4:30pm. We offer the opportunity to cross-train into Mammography and be part of a team providing a wide range of screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures with compassion and integrity.
