Electrophysiology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our dynamic team at Verovian Nursing Agency. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting electrophysiologists with complex procedures such as electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and implantations of devices like pacemakers and defibrillators.

• Assist electrophysiologists with complex procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment for electrophysiology procedures, adhering to strict sterilization and functionality standards.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and electrical activity of the heart during procedures.
• Utilize advanced imaging systems and electroanatomic mapping tools to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Provide clear and compassionate guidance to patients and families on pre-and post-procedure care.

• Completion of education necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Oregon Radiographer License, obtained upon hire.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, obtained upon hire.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service setting.
• Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification within 2 years of hire.
