SHIFT: 5pm-1am Monday-Friday

COMPENSATION: $19.00/HOUR

We are currently in search of a Batch Technician for the evening shift. This role is crucial in producing precise wax batches efficiently and accurately while maintaining comprehensive production and inventory documentation. This position is temporary/seasonal with the possibility of transitioning to full-time permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately measure and identify the necessary components for each task, or utilize a pre-prepared kit of materials for mixing. Ensure all required documentation is completed thoroughly to comply with company and customer SOPs.
  • Combine various components in tanks to create and supply wax batches for filling lines.
  • Keep detailed records of each drum to monitor fragrance and other components utilized.
  • Review production schedules and collaborate with supervision to anticipate and fulfill production needs.
  • Develop knowledge of components to notify supervision of low inventory levels or potential shortages, maintaining accurate inventory control records.
  • Ensure the maintenance of equipment and tools assigned to the area, along with the cleanliness and organization of the workspace to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED, or 12 months of directly related experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure.

Preferred:

  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed instructions, whether written or oral.
