Shift Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Compensation: $18.50 per hour
Role Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to implement standardized protocols for sampling, analyzing, measuring, and testing products and materials. Accurate documentation of results is essential to support the safety, quality, and development of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute performance and safety evaluations in accordance with laboratory testing standards and client specifications.
- Gather, assess, and interpret laboratory data, addressing any discrepancies prior to submission for review.
- Detect issues related to equipment, processes, materials, and safety, and collaborate with supervisors to propose solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Capable of performing basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measurement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
- Demonstrate initiative in maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.
- Utilize an electronic Densitometer to measure candle emissions and conduct necessary calculations for analysis and reporting.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
In this role, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or touching, reach, talk, hear, and smell. The position may involve kneeling, crouching, sitting, climbing, or balancing. Employees may need to lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and various aromas is expected, with occasional exposure to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Educational Requirements
