SHIFT: 5pm-1am Monday-Friday
COMPENSATION: $19.00 per hour
We are currently looking for a Batch Technician for our evening shift. The Batch Technician plays a crucial role in producing wax batches efficiently and accurately while maintaining precise production and inventory documentation. This position is temporary/seasonal, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately measure and identify the necessary components for each task, or utilize pre-prepared kits of materials for mixing. Ensure all required documentation is completed thoroughly to comply with company and customer SOPs.
- Combine materials in tanks to create and supply wax batches for filling lines.
- Keep detailed records of each batch to monitor fragrance and other components utilized.
- Review production schedules and collaborate with supervision to anticipate and fulfill production needs.
- Develop knowledge of components to notify supervision of low inventory levels or potential shortages, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the upkeep of equipment and tools assigned to the area, along with maintaining cleanliness and organization to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED, or 12 months of directly related experience.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure.
Preferred:
- Experience in inventory management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capability to follow detailed instructions effectively.
