Job Overview

This position involves collaboration with a dedicated team, contributing to excellence in a leading manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and relevant regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
  • Identifying and reporting any inconsistencies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Maintaining quality and compliance through a commitment to a Right First-Time approach.
  • Receiving and preparing materials for manufacturing processes.
  • Operating equipment and performing sanitation tasks as required.
  • Documenting necessary paperwork, understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and performance metrics, and engaging in daily performance discussions.
  • Utilizing pallet jacks and manually wrapping pallets as part of the operational process.
  • Employing computer systems to manage material inventory and electronic batch records.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring the availability of components and products for uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or High School diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Operations.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a GMP or other regulated environment.
  • Proven understanding of GMP principles.
  • Experience in drug substance manufacturing.
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate, and comprehend simple to moderately complex equipment according to established procedures.
  • Proficient in documenting process tasks in electronic batch records.
  • Capacity to follow written instructions, identify, and report malfunctions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including 12-hour shifts as necessary.
  • Shifts will initially be M-F for 8 hours, transitioning to first, second, or third shifts based on candidate availability.
