About the PositionThis role offers the opportunity to join our esteemed Pediatric Acute Care team at Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital as a Speech Pathologist PRN. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, fluency, auditory (re)habilitation, and swallowing/oral feeding disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, fluency, auditory (re)habilitation, and swallowing/oral feeding disorders using appropriate testing methods and equipment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them about their condition, treatment options, and recovery expectations.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed as a Speech Pathologist in Tennessee. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
