Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Central Scheduling team at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, providing guidance and direction to the team, and ensuring that department goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor productivity and performance of Access Center Representatives for appointments, prior authorizations, and outreach
  • Schedule and register patients prior to appointments
  • Make inbound and outbound calls to schedule patient appointments
  • Responsible for daily assignments/workflow
  • Assist with training/onboarding of new hires
  • Interview patients to obtain demographic and financial information, input data into SMS system
  • Oversee completion of all Inpatient/Observation admissions for all ED patients as well as urgent and booked patients
  • Coordinate daily team activities to ensure appropriate utilization of staff
Requirements
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Medical Office, hospital, or physicians billing experience
  • Three to five (3-5) years admitting/registration experience required
