Commercial Loan Administrator I

Main Street Bank is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Administrator I to join our team. Your primary focus will be on processing and servicing less complex commercial loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and Bank policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review loan documentation, including commitment letters, loan agreements, and other related documents.
- Coordinate with lenders, outside counsel, and other vendors to ensure timely completion of loan packages.
- Process and verify loan payments, including calculating payment structures and validating payment calculations.
- Prepare payoff quotes and review loan documents to confirm release of collateral.
- Assist Loan Officers with adverse action notices and ensure documentation is collected for reporting requirements.
- Ensure all assigned general ledger transactions are completed and general ledger accounts are balanced in a timely manner.
- Complete commercial loan credit reference requests and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to commercial loans.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and the Internet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply Bank policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
The physical and work environment demands of this role include occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, regular use of a computer for extended periods, and specific vision abilities. The employee must be able to work schedules that meet the needs of the bank, which may include early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours.
