Financial Audit Consultant

ASRC FEDERAL CYBER, LLC is in search of a skilled Financial Audit Consultant to assist with the Department of the Navy's Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a meticulous mindset, exceptional organizational capabilities, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with Federal financial risk management protocols is essential, along with a readiness to engage in client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project schedules and guarantee the timely completion of deliverables.
  • Execute assessments of business process risks and formulate testing methodologies.
  • Draft and revise memorandums for business process cycles.
  • Lead discussions and process walkthroughs with stakeholders.
  • Remain informed about emerging financial regulations and assist in their application.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and offer effective solutions.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations within established timelines.
  • Facilitate client-facing meetings and discussions.
  • Carry out additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • SECRET Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least five (5) years of experience in audit preparedness, financial operations, internal controls, or accounting for Federal Government Agencies
  • Experience with financial statement audits or audit remediation in the Department of Defense or other Federal Government entities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience assessing federal financial business process controls
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
