Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized advice to clients through reviews and presentations, assessing their financial goals and recommending investment strategies

  • Partner with financial advisor teams to build their network and share relevant market developments and new products
  • Develop and grow a book of business to meet and exceed pre-defined financial targets
  • Prioritize client requests and make introductions to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

As a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with both affluent and high net worth clients, identifying their needs, developing relationships, and reviewing investment goals. You will develop the relationship management skills necessary to operate in an Elite Growth Practice (EGP) and will have the potential to progress into the next stage of training.

Requirements:
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses
  • Two years' experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation
  • Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment
