Bar Operations Manager

At USHG, we're seeking a skilled Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality beverage program that enhances the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Maintain Beverage Program: Create a unique and engaging beverage program that showcases our restaurant's offerings and exceeds guest expectations.
- Lead Bar Team: Provide guidance and support to our bar staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure Operational Efficiency: Implement systems and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the bar program.
- Train and Educate Staff: Provide ongoing training and education to our service team to ensure they have a deep understanding of our beverage offerings.
- Maintain Bar Area: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, with all necessary supplies and equipment available.
- Support Service Staff: Continuously provide support to our service staff, actively participating in the cycle of service as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain positive working relationships with all leaders and line staff, ensuring effective and timely communication.
- Provide Feedback and Guidance: Offer constructive feedback and guidance to team members, ensuring they have a pathway for growth and development.
- Comply with Regulations: Ensure knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, including DOL and Health Department compliance.
- Experience: 3+ years' experience behind the bar in a similar environment, with management experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Excellent food and beverage knowledge, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English fluency required and Spanish preferred.
- Education: Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job.
- Annual Salary: $75,000-$80,000, plus bonus potential.
