Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the planning, organizing, and training of bartenders to achieve objectives in customer service, employee satisfaction, sales, expenses, beverage quality, and development.
- Coordinate the development of the bar menu and ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to the team.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate recent issues, changes in policy, and ways to improve the work environment.
- Maintain all beverage equipment and ensure proper use and care of company property.
- Ensure all bar and bar prep areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to Department of Health standards.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the management team to review operations, necessary improvements, and staff and guest concerns.
- Responsible for closing and/or opening shifts, scheduling bar staff, and hiring/training new staff.
- Assist the Beverage Director in creating cocktail and bar menus and ensure inventory and quality control for all bar items.
- Provide opportunities for staff to learn, grow, and develop their abilities.
- Monitor and adhere to the budget set forth by the owner and Director of Operations for anticipated sales, labor costs, serviceware, beverage costs, and overall expenses.
