Job Summary

The Transportation Professional will drive a bus or motor coach, including regular route operations, charters, and private carriage. The ideal candidate will have a commercial driver license with P endorsement, a clear driving record, and one to two years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles before departure and check gas, oil, and water levels.
  • Drive vehicles over specified routes or to destinations according to time schedules while complying with traffic regulations.
  • Park vehicles at loading areas for passenger boarding.
  • Assist passengers with baggage and collect tickets or cash fares.
  • Report delays or accidents.
  • Advise passengers to be seated and orderly on vehicles.
  • Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
  • Load and unload baggage in baggage compartments.
  • Record cash receipts and ticket fares.
  • Call Dispatch daily for assignment.
  • Make minor repairs under the direction of Maintenance Staff when necessary.
Requirements
  • A high school graduate or equivalent with a commercial driver license and P endorsement.
  • One to two years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of driving a bus or motor coach.
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience and location.
