Key Responsibilities
Conduct site-specific seismic hazard assessments and ground-response evaluations.
Utilize numerical modeling techniques through finite-element methods, particularly with PLAXIS software.
Design solutions for earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundational systems.
Execute settlement evaluations, liquefaction assessments, and seismic analysis.
Formulate geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for both private and public sector projects.
Assist in field operations including exploratory logging, monitoring deep foundation construction, shoring, grading activities, and other geotechnically relevant tasks.
Complete fieldwork, analytical tasks, and project administration with guidance from peers and leadership.
Progressively learn more complex, non-routine tasks under the supervision of senior staff.

General Candidate Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's Degree – Required; M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering - Preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in numerical modeling, seismic hazard analysis, and GIS is advantageous.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment
Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting while also being resourceful in independent fieldwork.
