Human Resources Liaison for Logistics

Position Summary:
Our workforce is the cornerstone of our achievements. We are in search of a proactive HR Business Partner to synchronize business goals with our personnel and management within our distribution center. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, you will cultivate collaborative relationships across the HR spectrum to provide value-added services that align with our organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with management to offer HR insights and support as needed.
- Collaborate with management and staff to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and elevate productivity and retention rates.
- Address and resolve employee relations matters; conduct thorough and impartial investigations.
- Provide ongoing performance management support to management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Engage in the performance management process to ensure effective development of internal talent and address any identified gaps.
- Participate in the assessment and monitoring of training initiatives to ensure objectives are met.
- Utilize workforce analytics to create HR dashboards, generate reports, and conduct employee engagement surveys to identify trends.
- Advise on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Legal & Compliance, and Benefits to implement effective solutions for our associates.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and their interpretation.
- Facilitate exit conversations as necessary.
- Stay informed about legal requirements related to employee management to mitigate risks and ensure compliance, working closely with legal resources.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
- At least 3 years of experience in resolving employee relations issues.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in project management and change management.
- Knowledge of various HR disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, and applicable employment laws.
- Ability to understand the organization’s structure, roles, compensation practices, and related administrative processes.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
- This position will be based within the distribution center, hence 2+ years of distribution experience is preferred.
