About the Role

Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Associate Director, RN Emergency Department. This is a leadership role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Emergency Department team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Manage and develop the operational and capital budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization and allocation.
  • Lead and develop the staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and development opportunities to create a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical management experience relevant to patient population.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical care management, including quality and safety requirements.
  • Ability to practice skills according to department and professional standards.
  • Familiarity with Alzheimer's disease and developmental disabilities.
