Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist the registered nurse in evaluating, planning, implementing, and assessing care for patients in the interventional radiology department.
  • Function effectively in emergency situations by managing equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure proper archiving and storage of digital imaging data while maintaining the functionality of image review systems.
  • Conduct post-processing of digital images to provide physicians with additional clinical insights.
  • Be prepared to act in critical situations.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in interventional radiology is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
  • Certification as an ARRT Radiologic Technologist and compliance with Texas Department of Health regulations or RCIS certification is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
