Jimmy John's is on the lookout for a Restaurant Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our energetic team. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of the restaurant's operations to guarantee exceptional customer service and top-notch products in the absence of the General Manager. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a skilled team, receive comprehensive training, and acquire essential skills in food service and operational management.

Restaurant Operations Supervisors start at $14.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of approximately three to 15 staff members
  • Facilitate on-the-job training for all team members
  • Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies
  • Assist in managing food preparation, sales, and service
  • Estimate and forecast the required quantity of each food item for each shift
  • Supervise food preparation and service operations to ensure restaurant efficiency
  • Guarantee that every customer receives exceptional service
  • Coordinate deliveries and supervise drivers to optimize delivery operations
  • Complete daily food preparation, opening, and closing tasks
  • Implement systems and procedures with full integrity and accuracy
  • Manage daily and weekly administrative paperwork
  • Accountable for the cash drawers during shifts
  • Review previous shifts' systems and procedures for accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and upkeep on restaurant equipment and supplies
  • Perform additional related duties as needed
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages
  • Proficient in using personal computers and software such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and maintain good vision
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
