Position Overview:


The Electronics Test Technician is responsible for establishing testing setups and executing evaluations of electronic components and assemblies in accordance with established methods, protocols, standards, and sequences. This role involves the assembly and layout of units for electronic production based on specified designs and requirements.

Adjustments and calibrations of systems are performed as necessary.
Identifying and rectifying malfunctions through adjustments or component replacements as instructed is a key responsibility.
Utilization of hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments is essential in fulfilling job responsibilities.

Determining the appropriate tests to conduct, endorsing and proposing modifications to testing apparatus, and analyzing test outcomes to assess product and equipment performance are critical tasks.

Collaboration with engineers in the design and development of testing protocols for new products, along with recommendations for product enhancements or manufacturing adjustments, is expected.
May involve monitoring and validating quality in line with statistical process controls or other regulatory procedures.
Capable of troubleshooting down to the component level.
Employs schematic diagrams to pinpoint failures in both Analog and Digital circuitry.
A solid understanding of Solid State devices and micro-circuitry is required.

This role operates within a fast-paced production environment, necessitating the ability to maintain high productivity levels in alignment with customer timelines.

Proficiency in using various measurement tools, including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters, is essential.


Essential Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Skilled in troubleshooting at the component level for solid state, digital, and RF circuits.
Competent in utilizing Microsoft Suite and other data management applications to accurately record maintenance activities.
Experience with flying probe/high power testing

Preferred Skills :
Experience in RF Testing
Familiarity with Radar Systems

Typical Minimum Requirements :
High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated capability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks along with 1 year of experience
