Job Overview

The Electronics Assembly Specialist is responsible for establishing testing setups and executing evaluations of electronic components and systems in accordance with established methods, protocols, and specifications. This role involves the layout and assembly of units for electronic production equipment based on detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust and calibrate systems as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and rectify malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing components as directed.
  • Utilize hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments to perform job functions.
  • Determine the types of tests to be conducted, approve modifications to testing equipment, and analyze results to assess product and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers in the design and development of testing procedures for new products and suggest enhancements or manufacturing adjustments.
  • Monitor and verify quality in alignment with statistical process control or other quality assurance methods.
  • Troubleshoot to the component level, employing schematic diagrams to identify failures in both Analog and Digital circuits.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Solid State devices and micro-circuitry.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high productivity to meet customer demands.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using various measurement tools, including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.
