Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to become a part of our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and educating patients to enhance their progress towards achieving their communicative and functional objectives. The Speech Language Pathologist will also foster collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care, assess functional requirements and outcomes in collaboration with other specialists. Review and modify patient care plans to ensure the best possible results.
  • Develop and execute individualized care plans based on comprehensive evaluations of potential growth, involving family members when appropriate.
  • Conduct therapy sessions adhering to established standards of practice.
  • Guide support personnel to help patients reach their functional targets.
  • Effectively communicate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure favorable patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment objectives, and plans, with regular updates.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff and serve as a resource to promote speech therapy within the community.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid medical license and certification
  • Strong communication abilities. Speech Language Pathologists must articulate treatment plans clearly, inspire patients, and actively listen to their concerns to deliver effective therapy.
  • Capability to simplify complex medical information for better understanding
  • Outstanding observational and assessment skills
