About the Role

Amergis is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Fontana, CA. As a School Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulations, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.
  • Develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to address communication disorders.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, instructing them in the use of appropriate communication technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on best practices and professional development.
Requirements
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills.
