Job Summary

The Medical Assistant Float is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing support to physicians and patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Float resource, you will be required to work at multiple locations within your assigned area, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and patient care tasks
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient care
  • Perform and document vital signs, clinical care quality measures, and medical history information
  • Order clinical supplies and maintain inventory to facilitate smooth operations
  • Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in a physician office or healthcare setting preferred
