Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality control tests in all areas of ionizing radiation use, distributing and managing radiation monitors, and performing other radiation safety and image quality tasks under the direction of the Radiation Safety Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests in all areas of ionizing radiation use
  • Distribute and manage radiation monitors
  • Perform other radiation safety and image quality tasks under the direction of the Radiation Safety Officer
  • Maintain required documentation

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control procedures
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, BA/BS preferred
  • Current radiologic technologist license
  • AART certified Radiologic Technologist
