Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mail Production Director to lead our Mail Production Department at PeopleShare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mail production operations and excellent leadership skills to motivate and train staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Oversee and ensure the efficient functioning of all mail production-related activities, including supervising department employees and temporary workers.
  • Production Floor Management: Provide leadership on the production floor, promoting a positive work environment and setting performance goals to foster a culture of continual improvement.
  • Employee Development: Train personnel and implement changes to increase production output, while ensuring all employees document in the Avanti system.
  • Workflow Management: Schedule, prioritize, and execute job responsibilities and workflow for on-time completion, resolving production issues and keeping management informed.
  • Operational Excellence: Recommend changes in materials, equipment, and procedures to improve operational methods, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Mail Production Department.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in mail production/operations, with a proven ability to manage the department's function and its employees.
  • Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, data management, technical proficiency, and problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, train, and encourage staff, knowledge and experience with various mail production equipment, and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
