Job Summary

The Director of Public Relations will serve as the primary communication professional for Arc GLOW, implementing and evaluating the organization's long-term marketing and communication vision. This role will involve identifying and recruiting stakeholders, developing and maintaining a positive image, and leading fundraising efforts through private donations, grants, and solicitations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote Arc GLOW's mission and vision
  • Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members, influencers, and community leaders
  • Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio, and print content for website, social media, and newsletter production
  • Lead fundraising efforts through private donations, grants, and solicitations
  • Develop and maintain a positive image of Arc GLOW throughout the four-county region
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, or marketing administration or related field
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Valid NYS drivers' license with safe driving record
Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require flexibility in occasional evening and weekend hours. Will be required to travel throughout the four-county region to community and agency-related events.
